Yves and I went to Belgium for the Easter holidays of 2001. Belgium is the home of beer, chocolate and Moules et Frites (Mussels and Fries).

What's amazing about Brussels is, the city is completely bi-lingual, so everthing is written in French and Flemish, or some things are written in German or English, or all four. Quite an interesting culture!

Click to enlarge Brussels is packed with dogs! Dogs everywhere, and where there are no dogs in sight, there sure is a trail of dogs droppings. Stinky!! Anyway, we saw this cute lil sign for a dogs toilet. If only they had more of these, eh? If you go to Brussels, watch where you are walking!!

Click to enlargeThis picture was taken inside a Kebab shop that we ate at on the Monday, a few hours before flying home to Edinburgh. The paintings on the walls are so surreal! Look closely at the pic and you'll need to blink to check that you are seeing the picture correctly. It is strange!
